Particle čak/чак in Bosian / Croatian / Serbian Dear italkians, I am a linguist fascinated with Bosnian, Croatian and Serbian languages, and right now my colleague and I are conducting a study on the particle "čak/чак" in these languages. If you are a native speaker of Bosnian, Croatian or Serbian, you could help us a lot with our study if you would fill in a short online questionnaire at http://goo.gl/forms/pTYW7lTeWf It asks you to translate seven sentences from English into your language and asks you some questions about the possibility of using the particle "čak" in these sentences. It should not take longer than 15 minutes (please complain if it does take longer!). I will post a summary of the results once we get some responses. It would be really so great if you found a few minutes to help us! Many many thanks in advance! Hvala lijepo unaprijed! And I wish you a very merry Christmas! Sretan Božić! M.

I saw the questionnaire was still open so I completed it. I really hope it helps because I'm from Croatia. Also, I have to say it's not so simple, I was really thinking a lot about each form :D but it was very interesting because there is no such big difference, many times it depends on speaker's point of view and now I saw what native speakers mean when they tell me the exact same thing about use of certain forms in their language.
