I am sure you are going to... I thought it's not possible I thought it's not possible to say "I am sure you are going to have a great time." I thought WILL is the only answer possible. "I am sure you WILL have a great time." Now, could you tell me is it a mistake or I can really say that way (I am sure you are going to). I was told by smb that after I think, I believe, I guess and I am sure WILL is the right choice. No I am puzzled, confused, disconcerted and embarrassed. Help me please!!

Both are possible. It is perfectly natural to say "I am sure you are going to have a great time."

I think Will is the right thing to say, but if you're talking informally and with friends you're not even supposed to struggle with grammar, you could say whatever you wanted as long as they understand you completely, but grammatically Will is more right than Going to :)

It's fine to say that, there's nothing wrong with 'I am sure you are going to...' (And 'I believe you are going to...' 'I guess you are going to...' and 'I think you are going to...' are also fine.)
