I've written most of my corrections in CAPITAL LETTERS.  Near the end I've broken one long sentence into 2 shorter sentences.

The first thing to do is cut the bananas into slices. We carefully INSERT each slice ON our SKEWER (omit the word STICK). Then we put a piece of apple that GIVES the appearance of a hat and finally put a grape on the tip. To decorate, we take the chocolate chips and make eyes and buttons.  FOR the nose we can use a piece of carrot and BISCUIT sticks for the arms. Finally we enjoy a delicious snowman.
