What is the meaning of "all" in "So, are we all ready to go?" Does it mean everybody or 100% ready?
What is the difference between "So, are we ready to go?” and So, are we all ready to go?" Which one do you use more often?
Thank you!Do I understand correctly that “all” can be uses as an adjective that means “completely” like “Now, everything is all set for our trip.” But in “So, are we all ready to go?” does “all” means “completely” or “everyone?”
A: So, are we all ready to go?
B: Yup, I think so. The car’s packed; we have
munchies and music, and the map’s in the car.
A: Did you get the camera?
B: Got it! Did you fill up the tank?
A: Yup, it’s all set.

"all ready" can be used for both asking completion of readiness for individuals, and consensus of readiness between all asked. In this example I'm pretty sure I would use it to ask if each person is completely ready.
Between using the two examples it comes down to personal preference. Both phrases sound natural and will usually get the same results.
