Hello, I want to know how to translate "além de" from Portuguese to English in a specific sentence. I'll give you an example of the construction:
"O consumo de doces em excesso, além de levar ao ganho de peso, também pode causar doenças como o diabetes."
or
"Aprender a dançar, além de ser divertido, resulta em inúmeros benefícios à saúde"
