Are they both OK, 'six-grade students' and 'six graders'?
Or maybe 'six grade students are having a school trip in the park'? What's the natural way of putting it?
Thank you!!

Hi Helen,
Both are ok but instead of "six" you should use "sixth". This is a US American term but I would say "Sixth grade students are having a school trip in the park" and "Sixth graders" would just be more casual / informal.
Have fun!
