to win the next World Game(s) depends on their preparation and effort(s) / give (to) your father...
1.
“Whether our team will win the next World Game depends on their preparation and efforts.”
→Is this sentence correct? First, I think we should add “s” after the word Game. Second, the word effort takes a plural form here. Is it correct? Can I use the singular form?
2.
What kind of medicine did the doctor give (to) your father?
→Should I add “to” before “your father”?
Thanks!

In my view, the best English would be:
1. "The success of our team in the next World Games will depend on how well-prepared they are."
2. "What medicine did the doctor prescribe for your father?"

Sentence 2: "to" is not necessary - both ways are correct, but I think it's better without "to"
