Ielts speaking exam. ( is this commen ? )
I took my Ielts speaking exam today and something unexpected happened to me. The examiner asked me many questions in part 2 and 3 . She asked me to answer a cue card about a journey first, then asked me about transportation in my country, then travelling and flowers, and later planning a trip to a country . She asked me about 20 questions and before that for part 1 she asked me about work, music, songs, my colleagues and they were up to 15 questions !! Is that normal ? I didn't expect it at all. I thought they'd ask me to answer the cue card then ask me questions related to it, not a lot of questions for different topics.

Yes, that is normal. In part one, you answer questions about yourself - your studies, work, family and so on.
The idea of part one is to make you feel comfortable, and to put you at your ease talking about familiar personal topics. If these questions surprised and stressed you, then it obviously didn't have the desired effect!

The standard abbreviation is "IELTS." The word "common" is spelled as such.
A review of the usage of commas and other punctuation marks might be helpful.
All that said (or written!), your command and usage of English, judging by this, as well as your other posts, is very good! I hope this helps you! J.
