The Specifications shall be read in conjunction with the other Contract Documents. Refer to the General Conditions of Contract for order of precedence of the Contract Documents. ..........well, the first sentence, i knew the meaning , but the second one, ummm, can not understand. is it a fixed pattern????usually , how do u say in a formal way" if there is any problems in understanding, plz check the contract( here, all documents must follow the contract )..thanks :)

In my opinion, the General Conditions of the Contract should be about some basic concepts, rights and liabilities of both sides. There would be detailed instructions on the priority and importance of each contract document. For example, document A shall prevail document B under certain circumstances. That is just my understanding about it. Thank you for all your advice on this.
