Hello...grammar q
Would anyone kindly help me out here and tell me the correct option & more importantly WHY?
t is no good ..........apologising to me now.
A)for him
B) him
C) he is
D) that he

I don't know your English level (it doesn't show on your profile), so there's no point in giving an explanation that you won't understand.
The correct answer is B.
A different verb form needs to follow answers A and D, and answer C needs different punctuation. Even if you revised the sentence for each answer, they would all have different meanings.

I don't believe any of the answers is correct. I would say:
It is no good for him to apologize to me now.
His apologizing to me now does him no good. (or will do him no good)
