I was watching the movie "The Judge" and I have some questions. Could you help me?

1) Three brothers just got home from a bar, it is night and the driver is trying straighten the car out while backing up and trying to align the car with the garage door. He is being helped by his brother, who is in the passenger seat. Eventually, the driver ends up hitting the garage door and say the following to his brother:

"You did it on purpose. Bang it out yourself" ... and walks into the house.... What does" bang it out" mean?

2) A woman says to a friend that just fell off his bike " I only own THE one black dress"... why "the" ?
3) What "light a match and hold my hair back" mean?
4) Would it be odd to say to a friend that is drinking too much beer : "Hey, chill on it" or "Chill on the beer"?

1. There is most likely a dent in the car. To remove this dent, the driver will have to "bang it out" probably with some hot water and a hammer. In essence, the brother is saying that he will not help him fix the car.
2.  Using the word "the" emphasizes that there is only one black dress that she owns. If she ruins that dress, she'll have no more black ones.
3. Assuming you're talking about smoking, the woman probably has long hair which could catch fire if the lighter touches it. So the partner holds her hair to prevent it from catching fire.
4. Yes, this would be a very informal way to phrase this sentence. I would probably say, "take it easy, man" or "take it easy on the beer."
