There's some masculin nouns that have a little bit unexpected endings (unexpected for me of course).
Like:
nomer-nomera,
golos-golosa,
gorod-goroda,
dom-doma,
bereg-berega, etc
My question is: is there any rule to use a with those nouns? does existany full list of such nouns?

ending -a- have nouns denoting paired concepts:
Glaz-glaza, rukav-rukava
 Or Forms can have a different meaning: tonA (colors) and tonY (the sounds)
