Warwick University is far out on the outskirts of Coventry, which is a dull industrial town. It is not that great a physical place. Warwick has had a lot of focus on its manufacturing economics over the years. Bath University is right on the edge of Bath, which is heavily touted tourist small city. So, probably a nicer general place. Both are concidered good universities within the UK and a degree from either would be seen as a good reputation. Good advice from Edward by the way.

You should think about what the professors at each school specialise in, and whether their area of specialisation is more closely related to what you are interested in. This will help hugely when it comes to deciding a thesis topic. The University of Warwick is in Coventry which is a city in the English midlands and is closer to other big towns and cities like Birmingham and Leicester, whereas Bath is a smaller town with less cities around (it is a really picturesque part of England though). So I suppose it would depend on what sort of environment you'd prefer to live in too.
