My book says: Let‘s go to his home. The sentence is wrong .
It should be revised to: Let‘s go to his house.
Is that correct?

As far as I know it's not absolutely wrong. You should be aware of the difference between "home" and "house"
I mean here a home can be a house or an apartment, but it could also be a tent, a boat... wherever you feel most comfortable and  belongs to you. And a house only means the physical structure.
