"Cast" is an old word which has several meanings. In your text, "cast" means "form" (ie. to make a plaster cast of something).
So, two forms (or types) of villain.

i believe it means the amount of actors that is in the movie/film/play/etc. Soo in your example it would mean that there is a total amount 2(two Not tow) actors that are villains.
