For example, I was working in a bank, the top leaders decide the loans rates, risk control policies, etc., while the general staff members apply their skills to achieve those goals or policies.
In addition, as a team, the most important thing is how the top leaders apply their management skills to lead the team. For instance, in my company, there is a problem: all leaders are with excellent knowledge of the business level, he/she [they] can handle their own ability to do a variety of things, but sometimes they ignore the team work. Hence, as a top leader, they should initiate and motivate members positively, so that all members of the team work in a positive (and motivated) atmosphere.
