Hover effect - what makes more sense? Hey, guys! I want to add a hover effect to the pictures on my website. Which expression do you think makes more sense and is easier to understand? "Please hover over the images to see the full scan" or "Please go to the images to see the full scan"? Thanks!

You mean you wish for users to place the cursor over the image to see information, right? In which case, use hover.

If that is the case, then you are correct. Good job and good luck. :D

Thank you, Cameron! I want to tell people to hover over the images so they can view the content. No clicking the button is needed. That makes the former sentence a little more clear, I suppose.

Both phrases are understandable. The first phrase is literally telling someone to hover over the images so that they can view the content. If this is not your intent (maybe because the content will not be viewed easily), then the second phrase would be better. The second phrase, to me, is saying to click on the image in order to view it. Really it depends on the effect you are actually going for (hover to view/click to view) and which option you think let's people view the content the best. Let me know if this makes sense or not.
