Tous / tout / toute / toutes
In which context gramatically do you use tous / tout/ toute /toutes ? I'm wondering with regards to pronouncing correctly in sentences, when to say the 's' or 't' at the end.
Merci

tout = all :
(1) Adjective: Most commonly, tout is used as an adjective. This means that it can modify nouns as well as act alongside definite articles (as in le/la—the), possessive adjectives (as in mon—my) and demonstrative adjectives (as in ce—this, cette—that).
(2) Adverb: Secondly, tout can be used as an adverb. This happens when it is used to modify verbs or adjectives.
(3) Noun/pronoun: Tout can also be used as a noun. This would be the equivalent as saying “you are my everything” (tu es mon tout) in English. Similarly, tout can be used as a pronoun, as in when you say “everything is good” (tout va bien) in English.
More over you have to know that "tout" Singular Masculine , "toute" Singular Feminine , "tous" plural Masculine , "toutes" plural Feminine .
Examples :
Vous pouvez apprendre le français à tout âge " You can learn French at any age"
J’apprends le français toute la journée " I learn French all day."
Tu connais tous mes amis " You know all my friends."
Fixed Expressions with Tout as an Adjective :
En tout cas (in any case)
Toutes taxes comprises (taxes included)
Tout le temps (all the time)
Tous les 36 du mois (once in a blue moon)
Prendre tout son temps (to take one’s time)
I tried to explained to you just tout then when you get it as well and becoming able to use it in your conversation and sentences then you can learn "tous " , take it step by step to understand as well , what makes them hard to get in the first time and to be unable to use it properly in sentences is the various context that you can put it on it .
further more , don't forget can be used "Tout as an Adjective" ,"Tout as an Adverb" , "Tout as a Noun or Pronoun" .
i wish you the best in learning French , my advice to you to understand more this kind of skills is reading as much as you can , you can start with sentences then texts then articles , languages need time and patience plus Continuous practice .
best regards
