weeks', weeks
I have two _________ holiday.
I think I must pick the word "weeks". Because it's a plural noun. But many people answer "weeks". Why? What grammar rule is performed here? I think a possessive doesn't work here because holiday doesn't belong to weeks.

Hi Smi,
If your choice is not limited to the two answers you have indicated, I would use a compound adjective:
I have a two-week holiday.
You can also use : two weeks' holiday.
The apostrophe indicate that the "two weeks" are related (belonging to) the "holiday".
