I am not sure if EVERYONE in Spain knows what halal means but many restaurants or food shops have a halal certification inside (it means that the muslim authority approved the meat). 3. The way to ask woulb be: ¿Tienen ustedes carne halal? but most people won't understand, so another way to ask could be: ¿Tienen ustedes carne sacrificada especialmente para musulmanes?

Hi! Well, normally you won't find Halal meat in normal supermarkets, however in practically every city there are Halal butcheries owned by Muslim people. When it comes to restaurants I have never seen a restaurant certifying that the meat is Halal, but that doesn't mean they don't exist!
