Grammar for "Lately (been doing something) because of (this reason)." I'm having difficultly translating this sentence to Japanese, any help would be appreciated! Also if you have multiple examples of how to say this sentence that would be great. "Lately I haven't been writing in my diary because I have been busy with work." さいきん僕の日記を書かなくている仕事と忙しいですから。 みなさん読んでくれてありがとう!

If I say it simply, it would be as below. 最近、仕事で忙しいので、日記を書いていません。 The sub-clause is usually translated first, then the main clause comes after in Japanese. hope it is helpful.

「仕事が忙しいから、さいきん、日記を書いていません。」 Other examples 太ったから、さいきん、運動しています。 体に悪いから、さいきん、お酒を飲んでいません。 時間があるから、さいきん、たくさん勉強しています。
