Is it a different meaning these two sentence? 1. There is no book on the table. ( We can't see any book ....) 2. There is not a book on the table ( We can see something on the table but it is not a book ... ) Am I right?

Hello. The only difference I can actually see is related to syntax. Let me explain: 1-) There is not a book on the table. Not, in this case, is the negative form of the verb 'be' in simple present (is not) 2-)There is no book on the table. In this case, 'no' is working as an adjective qualifying the noun (book) In addition, in the first example, an article must precede the noun whereas the second one needs no article before the noun. Best regards!

They have the same meaning. The most natural option is, "there are no books on the table."

There are no books on the table. There is no any book on the table. I believe this way is more understandable..
