I agree with Momoko-san. However, it depends on the work in Japan. There are some companies that they don't give you the permission.

I also agree with Ryoko-san.And in the case of English school,in my opinion it's not problem whether teachers have beared or not.

I think its ok and no one see it as unhygienic. Many Japanese has beard also. Don't worry!;)
