Josep (which is the catalan version of joseph) sounds exactly like joseph in english but instead of "ph" say "p" like in ping pong. Carreras: in some kind of pinyin: KA- RRi-Ra-SI. RR like a big motocycle when starting /(beijing R is not very far). KA, chinese has it. RRE like REN (man) in chinese without N. RAS r is softer like english somehow and then S like in english "has", "bus" and the like. funny you think this name is exotic.
