What's the difference between ÇA ÉTAIT and C'ETAIT? Dear all, I'm searching online a translation to "it was good" and I find both options: ÇA ÉTAIT BON and C'ETAIT BON. Is there a difference and situations where I could only use one? Merci :)

I would translate "it was good" into "c'était pas mal". "ça était bon" is incorrect. "c'était bon" , I'd only use it if I refer to food. Or also for the confirmation of something.

The correct is " c'était bon "
