What does this sentence mean "Doing so is a win-win for both trees and megafauna – the animals get a meal and the trees get their seeds spread to new areas, complete with a bit of fertilizer to aid their start in life." What does "complete with a bit of fertilizer to aid their start in life." mean? Thanks a lot!

The birds eat the fruit with seeds, fly elsewhere, then excrete the seeds. (the seeds are covered with manure/fertilizer)

If it's "complete with" that's causing problems, you could substitute "including": the animals get a meal and the trees get their seeds spread to new areas, including a bit of fertilizer to aid their start in life.

Plants need fertilizers to grow, so by this process i.e. when the birds eat the food and excrete near plants or trees, the new trees already have fertilizers to help them grow. Is it clear? I hope so :)
