"rock pool" as in tide pools 潮汐(石) 池. "Rock pool' as in a small body of water among the rocks, 石池.

I agree with Helena and Jack. Those natural occurring ones in mountains are typically called 潭。石潭 sounds right to me.

I think there is not a correspoing word in Chinese(at least in modern Chinese)
