Can you recommend a textbook on Chinese? I'm looking for a guide and I have no preferences on this step(my level is zero). Except for one, a book must be in English or Russian.

Hi! If your level is zero, you could try Duolingo Chinese before buying any books. You can then move up to FluentU Chinese. They have some really good audios and videos for beginners. And from there I'd say just go the Comprehensible Input route: Have conversations with tutors and partners, read Mandarin Companion's and Chinese Breeze's readers, and so on. The only book I can wholeheartedly recommend is not really a textbook, but a book of mnemonic techniques for learning to write the hanzi: Remembering Simplified Hanzi, by Heisig. And the only resource every single student of Chinese should have is the Pleco app. I have the Pro Bundle and it's totally worth it.
