"Real property" means land and buildings (ie. real estate), whereas "personal property" refers to a person's possessions (ie. everything else, such as clothes, papers, jewely, automobiles, furniture, bank accounts, intellectual property, online identities, investments, passwords, business interests, antiques, etc.)

Most modern documents are titled as "last will and testament" and deal with both types of property.
