"Is it possible" or "will it possible"? Which would you use as a native speaker? Hi friends, Which would you use as a native speaker in this context? "Is it possible" or "will it possible"? " This is regarding the visit that we are supposed to pay there on the 25th of Jan. Is it possible for you to arrange the transport from your end? Thanks in advance! Niwantha

In addition to Karen's answer, I would use both depending on the circumstances... Also your second sentence is grammatically wrong, you need to have "BE"... "Will it be possible?" "Will it be possible...." is a disguised command, like your boss telling you to do something and is not a request. If you don't do it, you are fired. Simple as that. Therefore, "is it", "would it" is more polite, especially when you are asking help. Here, the answer can be "no". You cannot say "no" to the first way of asking unless you don't care about the consequences. "Will you love me" and "would you love me", "shall you love me", "should you love me" all have different nuances and meanings! This is because of the complex meanings in these verb forms!

Is it possible.... polite form or WOULD it BE possible... polite form. Will is too direct to be perfectly polite. If you use 'will', you are asking if all the conditions are there for the person to arrange transport, rather than asking them to arrange transport politely. You would normally only use this if you were a transport manager or something. Otherwise use: is it? or Would it be...?

"Will it [verb]?" Is it possible? Will it BE possible? Both are perfectly fine.
