When could I say "did you go here?" Hi folks, A few days ago, I happened to hear in a movie" did you go here?" The subtitle introduced it in Korean something like "did you study at our university?" I'm curious to know what exactly "did you go here?" means and in what kind of situations you could use it. Thank you in advance and good day to all!

One meaning of "to go" is to attend school or university. "Did you go here?" means "Did you study here?" or "Were you a student here?" New Oxford American Dictionary go - verb (go to) attend or visit for a particular purpose: we went to the movies | he went to Brown University.

Chris picked a more polite meaning of 'go'. Another relatively common usage is when you use 'go' as short for 'go to the toilet'. Context is everything!
