What is business field trip called?
What does it call when someone gets a chance in the organization to go abroad to look at examples and best practices of other affiliates, partners, or mother company to gain knowledge and then come back to improve their work in their company?

Yes that works well and you could say it’s a “fact finding tour” or “business trip” simply put. Hope that helps

Fyi: 'Business trip' is fine, but not 'business holiday'. Nobody says that.
