Should it be "in morning hours" or "in the morning hours"?
Hi friends,
Should it be "in morning hours" or "in the morning hours"? Is this sentence grammatically correct?
1) We would appreciate it if you could set up this meeting in morning hours.
2) We would appreciate it if you could set up this meeting in THE morning hours.
Thanks in advance!

We don't generally say 'the morning hours'. Just 'the morning'. Please do it in the morning generally means tomorrow morning. Please arrange a morning meeting means a meeting held in the morning (rather than the afternoon, or evening). I am leaving on a morning flight.

It is correct to say "We would appreciate it if you could set up this lesson in the morning hours." but this is not a natural usage. We would normally say "We would appreciate it if you could set up this lesson in the morning."
