Hi, Ewa.
All these words are built of the three roots (ka ta ba), which has the meaning of "writing".
"kitabun" means something written (a book). Grammatically it's a noun, singular, nominative, indefinite.
"al - kitabu" has same meaning. (the book). Grammatically it's a noun, singular, nominative, definite.
"katabtu" is the verb (to write) conjugated to the first person, singular, past tens. (I wrote)
"katibun" is the active Participle form built of the verb and means (the one, who is doing the action) = writer .
Grammatically it's a noun, singular, nominative, indefinite.

If you write that with Arabic letter could be better or in sentences because that make difference - any way
kitab un : that is not clear to me
al - kitabu : mean The book
katabtu : mean I wrote it past simple verb
katibun : A writer

'al' in arabic is like 'the' in english. Now, book (noun) in arabic is 'kitab'. But when grammar is concerned, that is when we use the noun in a sentence, we need to specify the sound of the last letter in the word. For kitab, we can use 'kitabun', 'kitaban' or 'kitaben'. For example, in the sentence: I found a book on the table, you use 'kitaban'. Or if you say: This is an interesting book, you use kitabun.
In arabic this is called 'tanween', that is adding the sound 'n' at the end of the noun. But I think this is an advanced topic if you are a beginner.
for verbs: you can say: I wrote, then the wrote is like 'katabtu'
'Katibun' (writer) is noun
