En español utilizamos el presente simple en estas situaciones ( algo que empezó en el pasado y continúa en el presente).
For: desde hace
Since: desde
Entonces, tus frases serían:
(Yo) trabajo aquí desde hace cinco años.
(Yo) trabajo aquí desde mi infancia.
Otros ejemplos:
I have had this mobile since February. Tengo este móvil desde febrero.
I have had this car for two years. Tengo este coche desde hace dos años.

For = por --> indicates a period of time:
I've worked here for 5 years.
He trabajado aquí por 5 años.
Note: "He" isn't the English third person masculine pronoun, rather, it indicates the Spanish first person singular past participle (EN: I have verb + -ed = ES: He verbo + -ado)
Since = desde --> indicates a period of time starting at a fixed point but which goes the present time:
I've worked here since my childhood.
He trabajado aquí desde mi infancia.
