What does 행보 mean? Can it be used to mean "activity"?

행보 means "an act of moving toward a certain goal."
e.g.
선거를 앞두고 후보자들은 본격적인 대선 행보에 돌입하였다.
국내 가수들의 성공적인 아시아 진출로 다음 행보가 기대된다.

I saw it used as 정치적으로 의미 있는 행보. Using the word move there would sound strange, though.

As far as I know, 행보 means "move" as in a decision.
For example "addressing the situation politely is a good move" or "raising the advertising budget was a good move for the company."
