What does "wholesome" exactly mean?
The dictionary explains it as "good for mental or physical health", literally "healthy". But I saw the word being used a lot in a post talking about an anime which is heartwarming and adorable. It made me confused. Could anyone explain the word in a more detailed way?

Something containing violence or sex would be considered unwholesome in this context.
