How many is an amount ex: How many apples 🍎 do you have ? I have two apples. How much is cost $$$ ( If you are shopping 🛍) Ex: How much is it ? It’s $20 dollars 💵

a diferença é que quando você diz "how many" você está falando sobre coisas que você pode contar. Por exemplo: "Quantas maçãs estão na geladeira?" (Hay 4 maças) “How many apples are there in the fridge?” (There are 4 apples)
mas quando você diz "how much", você está falando sobre coisas que não podem ser contadas. Por exemplo: “Quanta água há na  garrafa? (Só um pouco, a metade, cheia) “How much water is there in the botlle?” (A little, a half, full)
