Is this gramatically correct?
"I made an account on that website yesterday but haven't been talking to anybody."
Do I have to add "since then"?

You probably don't need to say 'since then'. It's more or less implied. But your past tense is not quite right. You could say: 'I created an account on that website yesterday but I haven't talked to anyone yet.'
