Korean Pronounciation 한국어발음 Hello guys, I curious if 원래 read as 월래, then 본래 read as 볼래, 신뢰 read as 실뢰 then why 표현력 read as 표현녁? Not 표혈력?

The different pronunciation has to do with the fact that 표현력 is a compound word(복합어) of 표현(expression) and 력(power, ability), whereas the other words you listed are integral words not further divisible. 표현 is more often used on its own without 력. ㄴㄹ becoming ㄹㄹ occurs inside of a word (and a phrase which is treated like a single word, like a [noun + particle] combination). Across a word boundary or at a boundary between two parts of a compound word, ㄴㄹ becomes ㄴㄴ because the second entity receives a stress too. But this is not an absolute rule because the compoundness of a word is not always clearly defined, and even in a compound word, there are exceptions. So single words go with the ㄹㄹ pronunciation, as in 본래, 신뢰. 인력거, 흡인력, 신선로, etc. For compound words or multi-word phrases, it is often (but not always) ㄴㄴ, as in 흡인력, 결단력, 신문로, 임진란, etc. Some words are pronounced differently by different people. For example 신라면 is a widely known product name but its correct pronunciation is unclear even to native Koreans. Some pronounce it as /실라면/ while others say /신나면/. Someone asked the National Institute of The Korean Language (국립국어원) about it and even they didn't give a definite answer but said it could go either way (it is a name, so it's not listed in the dictionary and there seems no definitive pronunciation).
