Charged twice
Recently I paid for language classes. My bank account was charged twice. I have messaged the italki team but I get no response. Does anyone know how I would get my money back. The teacher I was having lessons from is not teaching me anymore

I've noticed this issue for me now... any updates? it's Oct 2025 when I noticed this issue. How do I contact support?

Hi all,
I got the same issue around two weeks ago.
After going through the automated support bot, I eventually spoke with an agent who confirmed that a system issue had prevented the refund from being processed. They mentioned their team is working on resolving it, but I still haven’t received the refund.
Could anyone help me with it?

I agree, just talk to italki again. They will sort it out ♥️

Odell, I'm sure the italki team will sort it out. I would contact them tomorrow as they may have been celebrating the Christmas break and not responded for that reason.
I would email them again during Beijing work hours tomorrow.
If it was a bank error, the italki team are honest people and you will get it back for sure. I've been working as a tutor on italki for 8 years, now and taking lessons, too. The support team have always been helpful and fair. So don't be despondent. They are not going to rip you off.
