Apparently there is a group of nuns in California who make money by growing and selling cannabis.

You can google weed nuns and there are videos about them on YouTube.

Brilliant! Thank you for this question! I had not heard of these nuns so I googled them and it made me smile :)

They are a group of seven women  who live in California. They grow marijuana, and make and sell hemp-based products.

However they are not "real" nuns. The group was formed in 2014, and they are not affiliated with the Catholic church in any way. In fact, I read an article that said they are against religion. They said their Holy Trinity is the marijuana plant.

They are a small business. Calling themselves nuns and wearing habits is basically a gimmick to advertise and sell their products.
