I send an email to my friend and he responds saying "Appreciate you keeping us advised."
What the meaning of " keep us advised" is?

hello .probably you have been advising. keep us advised means they appreciate that you do that again and again.

He appreciates you keeping them informed, i.e., he appreciates you notifying them and letting them know what's going on.
