Depends on what your priorities are, and your reasons to learn the language. Do more of what is important to you. If you want to write or translate, you need great grammar. If you want to engage in conversation, you need a lot of active vocabulary, and some basic grammar. If you want to watch films, just start by watching films. Do you want you need/enjoy and the rest will follow.

I prefer vocabulary over grammar, so I suggest watching many videos in Spanish with subtitles so you can pick up on new vocabulary, and eventually you can understand the grammar through the ways natives communicative with each other.

Hi Jermaine, I would put most of my efforts into living the language instead of studying it. Try to do in Spanish most of the tasks you normally would do in English. This is the fastest way to bilingual in my experience. Look for entertainment, news, recipes, all in Spanish, and translate all new words. It can also be handy to use a flashcards app (such as anki) to remember later on those words that you have come across. It is important also to speak out loud so that a native can correct your path as you go. Buena suerte! Marina

I honestly understand because I am going through the same thing. Try to do a mixture of different things make this day grammar, this day listening and other day speaking, or even weekly.
