Hi Jason! The full quote from Shakespeare's King Lear is: "The tempest in my mind Doth from my senses take all feeling else Save what beats there—filial ingratitude." He is saying that the thoughts in his head are like a storm (the tempest in my mind) and these thoughts stop him from feeling anything except what is bothering him (doth from my senses take all feeling else save what beats there) - he cannot stop thinking about the fact that his children are ungrateful (filial imgratitude). I hope this helps! I love Shakespeare and have taught some of his plays so please let me know through my teacher profile if you need any more help understanding.

It was well explained by Chelsea, I would just add basics, to be sure. In middle English, the ending for the 3rd person singular pronoun (he, she, it) was "th" - I think it's cognate with the Germanic t (as in German : er singt, er isst, etc.). Hence, "doth" here means "does". "save" is a rather literary word for "except".
