Difference between 勿論 and 当然 ?

勿論と当然の意味は英語で "of course" です. So can we use both if we want to say "of course"? Or is there any difference in use between both words depending on the context?

＊＊＊もちろん：　根拠は、「私の気持」。

例：「これ食べていい？」「もちろん、いいよ」

※ もちろん＝勿論＝論ずる勿かれ（ろんずるなかれ）＝理屈をいうな。理屈は不要　＝ Why not?

＊＊＊当然：　根拠は、「何らかの客観的な論理、道理」。

例：「彼が怒るのも当然だ」

難しい質問ですね。下の例文を見てください。
店員：いらっしゃいませ。
客：この服を見せてもらってもいいですか。
店員：もちろん、いいですよ。→This is natural sentence.
　　　当然いいですよ。→This is not so natural.

In my opinion, ”当然” is used in the case that considering LOGICALLY.

Looking other side,
"当然"は、「の」を後ろにつけるとadjactive(形容詞)として使えるが、”もちろん”は後ろに「の」をつけられない。
例　学校に行くことは、当然の権利(right)だ。→OK
　　学校に行くことは、もちろんの権利だ。→wrong sentence.
