It means, "Damn it to hell."
The origin of "Blue blazes" isn't too clear in my quick search. "Blazes" (= fire) is hell, but why "blue"?
I will guess that it's a euphemism for "bloody hell," which I gather in the UK is more offensive than in the US (some UKer help me here). Someone starting to say "bloody hell" might have stopped at the "bl..." and substituted "blue blazes" as a less offensive alternative.

rroox,
Richard has it right.
I suggest you find the complete Oxford English Dictionary in digital form. It is about 20 volumes and is by far the most complete dictionary of the English language.
Hell is said to be full of fire and brimstone. Brimstone, or sulphur as it is otherwise known, burns with a BLUE flame.

Hi, it's just another way of saying " damn it" which is an oath.
Example: Damn it to blue blazes, I told you I can't lend you any more money!
"Damn it to blue blazes! I give up!" Joe shouted, flinging his tools aside.

is just an expression, just to blame something.
another example
"it's hotter than blue blazes in here "
