rodney is a terrible comedian. he's one of my least favorites. He means the doctor tried to kill him when he was being born to help out his mother, society, etc. There's not too much to understand. He's just not funny.

Hmm , I don't think this joke is funny especially as the comedian, being a guy, has no idea whatsoever of what giving birth is really like.
