Firstly, there is no such thing as a "western way of thinking." Secondly, none of the media are 100% impartial. The good old days of impartial BBC reporting went out the window a while ago. However, I think it remains the most impartial (English) media today. Along with that, the tone of voice of BBC reporters is still quite pleasant. CNN clearly reflects the way they "believe Americans should think", and is, in my humble opinion (LOL), awfully self righteous. VOA is trash! If you are looking for trustworthiness, forget it. It's an old saying, but look for virtues in yourself first, before pointing the finger at others. There are other international broadcasters, but none of them attain the high standards of the BBC.

serious media try to give a vision of what they have seen and inform people. No serious media intends to have the real truth of what they witness. You can not expect the other one to see the facts with your same eyes. You are part of your world and media are part of their world. The only good thing to do is to contrast ideas............

No mass media is trustworthy, least of all Russia's . News and photos can be manufactured/doctored.
