Any difference between "be accommodating"and "be receptive"

In the context of hospitality, they mean the same. However; Receptive can also mean being open to ideas, and accomodating doesn't mean that.
So:
They were very receptive toward me.
and
They were very accomodating toward me.
mean the same, it means they were hospitable.
But someone can be receptive to my ideas without being accomodating. That means their minds were open to what I said. Accomodating is not used in this context.
